And also learn to laugh with yourself using this technique…
It can be challenging to view yourself around others, but I find it’s easier to observe yourself when it’s just you.
When you are with yourself pay attention to what you do.. – How are you sitting on the couch? – How do you wash the dishes or do your chores? – When you’re driving down the road how are you interacting in the car – do you listen to music or sit in silence? Do you have road rage or do you drive slowly and think through things going on in your life? – Do you think things through when you’re alone or distract your thoughts with music? – Are you self-critical or having fun with yourself? – Is it easy for you to be with yourself or do you feel lonely?
