As the day gets going and life happens by, we can either be feeling amazing by mid-afternoon or we can be feeling pretty lousy.

How often do you pause mid-afternoon to tune in to your body and check-in with it to see how its feeling?

Even more – to ask why am I feeling this way?

Have you ever noticed on a high-vibe day when everything seems to be going swell – you feel great, you’re laughing and smiling, and everyone seems to be on your side? It’s like you are on top of the world and the day just keeps getting better and better!

Have you ever paused to soak in this feeling.. to really feel it?

Contrary to this.. have you ever noticed on a day when things seem to be going “wrong it’s like when it rains it pours?

Things just keep stacking one on top of another until you feel like you’re ready to throw up your hands and just give up, like nothing you do is right?!

Yep, we all have those days!

What if this could be shifted.. maybe not every time but 85% of those days you didn’t have to feel like you’re a victim to the day?

Awareness of your emotions begins this process. How you are feeling and why you’re feeling that way is the first step to being able to run on high energy and shift out of those days when everything feels off – or be able to handle them with grace and more ease.

Reflection Exercise:

Check-in with yourself mid afternoon and ask the following questions?

How am I feeling in this moment?

What emotion am I feeling right now?

Why am I feeling this emotion? – is there something that happened during my day to cause me to feel this way?

Does it feel good in my body to feel this way?

Is this something I want to hold on to or am I willing to let it go?
